Ballroom Dancing Instructors Spencer and Lexie Craig specialize in standard ballroom and swing. Their friendly, laid back approach to teaching will give even the most apprehensive dancer the confidence to take the floor! Their philosophy as instructors is to encourage their students to embrace dance as an art form and as a social skill, to appreciate a new way to bond with their partners, and to enjoy the thrill and adventure of taking on a new challenge as a couple.
Classes will focus on basic timing and rhythm skills and how to lead/follow your partner. Throughout each workshop, couples will be guided through a simple and well-paced curriculum of beginning-level steps and combinations.
The goal for each new session is for couples to learn practical knowledge they can enjoy using at formal and informal social events – or maybe just for pushing the furniture out of the way and dancing around the house!
